Oh, what a week!

This is the girl that got strep throat and stayed home from school for four days.

This is the husband that travelled for work and stayed at a four star resort all week.

This is the wife and mother that stayed home with the girl that stayed home from school for four days and without the husband who stayed at the four star resort all week.

Merry Christmas?

It is always appalling to me how early the stores begin to push the gift buying on us for Christmas each year. It is especially frustrating the way in which they sell the idea of Christmas to our kids. I don't know exactly how to fix the situation our society is in, but this might be a good start.

I am just in awe of the fall colors right now.  I just can't get enough of them.  I have been running around the neighborhood taking pictures of leaves like some sort of crazy person.  I have to say I think it was worth it!
