New Year

What I have learned about Christmas in the New Year...

Christmas takes longer to put away then it does to take out.

We only really want/need about half of what we bought.

My favorite thing hands down is Christmas at the Old Church.

Christmas trees die whether you water them or not (so save the water).

Xbox may not make a kid lunch, but it does have the power to occupy two men for hours.

I can stand to have my kids under foot for 16 days straight.

Store bought cinnamon rolls do NOT taste like Cinnabon no matter what they say!

The only thing needed to incite laughter is a ping pong table.

It is a magical time of year, in more ways than one.

Ah! I'm learning the same thing about putting Christmas away! It's taking forever to find all the stray and left over decorations and to find new homes for the things we got. You really shouldn't talk about cinnamon rolls first thing in the morning...Now that's all I can think about wanting for breakfast. I'm pretty partial to the Cinnabon kind also!

Love ya!

So, I'm sure this is totally not the place or time...But thank you so much for the card. We got it last week, and I have been meaning to thank you, and since I am me, I haven't done it yet. So thank you Auntie, and thank you Uncle Pete.

Cinnabon is my favorite part of the mall.

Christmas is awesome, and every year, it gets better with the kids...

We need to come check out some new additions to your house it sounds like..

In the spirit of full disclosure, I have to tell you that the Xbox is ours, but the ping pong table is not :(
